Half Twist Jump
Sign in to mark this one off. Every trick you land is kept, and only you can see it.
The lowdown
A straight jump with a half turn in the air, so you land facing the opposite end of the trampoline.
The international code counts twist in half turns, at 0.1 for each one. Every twisting move in the sport, however big, is scored in multiples of this jump.
Tips
Start it exactly like a straight jump and stay tall. Turn your arms and shoulders up into the direction of the twist as you leave the bed. Twist only as far as you can without wobbling, then build up.
Why it isn't working3 common mistakes
Leaning sideways to start the twist. Keep your head and shoulders directly above your feet; the twist comes from the shoulders, not a lean.
Twisting before your feet leave the bed. Jump first, then turn.
Travelling across the bed. Slow the twist down and get it upright before making it faster.
