Straddle Jump
Sign in to mark this one off. Every trick you land is kept, and only you can see it.
The lowdown
A straight jump that lifts both legs out wide and straight at the top, reaching your hands towards your toes, then snaps the legs back together to land.
The international code names only four moves with no turn and no twist that still count as elements in a routine. The straddle jump is one, beside the tuck jump, the pike jump and the seat drop.
Tips
Reach up first and start the shape near the top of the jump. Reach forward from the hips with your arms about a right angle apart and let your legs come up to your hands. Straight legs matter more than touching your toes.
Why it isn't working3 common mistakes
Bending your knees to reach your toes. Keep the legs straight and reach only as far as they let you.
Starting the shape off the bed. Jump straight first, then lift the legs at the top.
Landing with your feet still apart. Bring your legs together as you come down, arms following them back into line.

Where it sits
Why it's Bronze: Bronze because it is a shape on a straight bounce. It asks for a little more hip flexibility than the tuck, and nothing else is new.
