Tuck Jump
Sign in to mark this one off. Every trick you land is kept, and only you can see it.
The lowdown
A straight jump that pulls the knees to the chest at the top, hands on the shins just below the knees, then opens out to land.
Most moves score for how far they turn or twist. The tuck jump does neither, yet the international code still gives it a difficulty value of 0.1.
Tips
Jump like a straight jump first, arms up, and only tuck near the top. Bring your knees up to your chest, not your chest down to your knees. Touch your hands just below your knees, then take your arms to your sides before you land.
Why it isn't working3 common mistakes
Lifting your knees as you leave the bed. Wait, reach up first and tuck at the top of the jump.
Dropping your chest to meet your knees. Keep your back upright and bring the knees up to you.
Staying tucked too long. Open out as soon as you have shown the shape so your feet are under you to land.

Where it sits
Why it's Bronze: Bronze because it is the first shape, added to a straight bounce with nothing else new. The only fresh thing to learn is when to tuck.
