Back Drop
Sign in to mark this one off. Every trick you land is kept, and only you can see it.
Someone who knows the trick, ready to catch you.
The lowdown
From a low bounce you land flat on your upper back with your legs raised, arms up and chin in, then kick out to return to your feet.
More moves grow out of the back drop than out of any other landing. The cradle, the cat twist and the back pullover all start from it.
Tips
Lift your chest and hips slightly forward as you take off; do not throw your head back. Land on your back, not your neck, with your legs up at about a right angle.
Why it isn't working4 common mistakes
Landing behind where you took off. Go back to seat drops and jump up, not back; the turn comes from the hips.
Throwing your head back. Keep your chin in and watch your toes come up.
Landing seat first and rocking back. Lift the hips so your whole back lands at once.
Knees falling towards your face. Hold your legs firm at a right angle as you land.

Where it sits
Why it's Silver: Silver because it is only a quarter turn backward, but you cannot see the landing coming. Most people find it scarier than the front drop.
