Tips
Come in at a slight angle and pop earlier than you think. Level the board out over the edge before you land.
Why it isn't working4 common mistakes
Front foot lazy on the slide. Slide the front foot hard to the nose so the board levels and the tail clears the kerb.
Landing on the nose first. Bring the back knee up after the pop so all four wheels land on top together.
Looking at the kerb. Look at the spot on top where you want to land.
Creeping up to the kerb. Keep a steady pace so a slightly short ollie still carries the back wheels over.
What you need
Where to practise
Street tricks want ledges and rails. find spots with ledges near you →
Where it sits
Why it's Easy: Easy because it is the flat ollie with a target. What changes is that a rocket ollie now catches the tail on the kerb, so the front foot has to level the board every time.
