Watch it
The lowdown
Ride up and out of the lip of a quarter pipe, turn back towards the ramp above the coping, and drop into the transition.
Tips
Start with the wheels barely leaving the coping and build up from there. Look back into the ramp as you turn.
Why it isn't working4 common mistakes
Slowing down before the lip. Carry your speed all the way up; braking at the top leaves you with no air at all.
Jumping off the coping. Let the ramp send you up; a hop at the lip throws the scooter away from the transition.
Turning too late. Start turning the bars as the back wheel leaves the coping so you land pointing down the ramp.
Landing on the flat bottom. Aim to touch down on the transition with both wheels, well below the coping.

Where to practise
Park tricks want bowls and quarter pipes. find spots with a bowl near you →
Where it sits
Why it's Easy: Pumping keeps the wheels on the ramp and fakie only teaches rolling backwards. An air puts the whole scooter above the coping and asks you to turn and find the ramp again coming down.
