The lowdown
Tips
Carve into it harder than a 180 but keep it controlled, or the bike jackknifes. Smooth flat ground first, then take it to drops and banks.
Why it isn't working4 common mistakes
Whipping with your arms then looking back. Keep your head turned over your shoulder all the way round until you spot the landing.
Not tucking the bike underneath you. Pull the bars in and your knees up together; a compact body spins faster.
Fixing an under-rotation on landing. Roll away in whatever direction you landed rather than wrenching the bike straight.
Chasing the full spin straight away. Land 270s first and roll out; the last quarter comes as the carve and tuck get stronger.

Where it sits
Why it's Gnarly: A 180 lands with the eyes already on the ground; a 360 needs the head to lead a full turn while the bike is tucked under you. Twice the rotation from the same hop.
