Handstand Against a Wall
Sign in to mark this one off. Every trick you land is kept, and only you can see it.
The lowdown
A handstand with a padded wall behind you, or one you walk your feet up while facing the wall. The wall catches you while you learn to be straight upside down.
The facing-the-wall version is sometimes called a plank, and it shows how straight a real handstand has to be.
Tips
Take a long lunge, place your hands and lift your back leg as they go down. Look at your fingers on the way up and squeeze your legs together at the top.
Why it isn't working3 common mistakes
Shoulders collapsing forward. Keep your arms by your ears and push tall through your shoulders.
Tucking the head in on the way up. Look at your fingers until you reach the wall.
Relying on the wall for balance. Practise taking small taps away from the wall to a straight shape.

Where it sits
Why it's Silver: The wall removes the balance problem, so all you need is straight arms, strong shoulders and the nerve to go upside down.
