Seat Drop to Hands and Knees

From a seat drop you push up, swing your legs back under…

Difficulty
Bronze
Can you do it?

The lowdown

From a seat drop you push up, swing your legs back under you and land on your hands and knees.

Fun fact

It is an early way to link two landings without going back to your feet in between.

Tips

Push down through your hands out of the seat drop and let your hips rise. Tip forward, swing your legs back under you and land on hands and knees together with a flat back, looking at the end of the trampoline.

Why it isn't working3 common mistakes

  1. Knees landing before hands. Tip forward a little more so all four points land together.

  2. Sitting back on your heels. Keep your hips above your knees and your back flat like a table.

  3. Not enough push from the seat. Press hard through your hands and reach forward as you rise.
