The lowdown
Kicking up to a handstand in front of a stack of mats and falling over, straight and tight, to land lying flat on your back on top of them.
In US Xcel Bronze, if you land flat on your back and then slide off the far end of the mat, it is not counted as a fall.
Tips
Why it isn't working4 common mistakes
Rolling over instead of reaching handstand. Pass through a true upside-down straight line from hands to hips before you fall.
Bent arms in the handstand. Lock your elbows and push tall through your shoulders.
Piking at the hips. Squeeze your bottom and hold a straight line so you land flat, not folded.
Landing on your bottom or feet. Stay tight until your whole back is on the mat.

Where it sits
Why it's Gold: Your first upside-down move on vault. You need a solid handstand and the nerve to fall straight over onto your back.
