The lowdown
Tips
Get the bike and your body leaned over, as close to square against the wall as you can. Carry speed, because slow wallrides just slide out.
Why it isn't working4 common mistakes
Staying upright against the wall. Lean your body and the bike over together, as close to flat against the wall as you dare.
Leaning only the bike. Your body weight is what has to match the wall; the bike follows it, not the other way round.
Hopping huge at the wall. Lift the front, give a small pop off the back and ride up the wall to your height.
Starting on a vertical wall. Learn on a slanted wall or a bank to a wall first; both need far less lean.

Where to practise
Street tricks want ledges and rails. find spots with ledges near you →
Where it sits
Why it's Spicy: The hop gets you on; the hard part is trusting a lean that feels wrong, because upright wheels slide down the wall. A bank to the wall makes the lean smaller to start.
