Half Cab
Sign in to mark this one off. Every trick you land is kept, and only you can see it.
The lowdown
Rolling backwards in fakie, hop a half turn so you land rolling forwards again.
It is the same idea as a half cab on a skateboard or a scooter, and the name travelled across all three.
Tips
Why it isn't working4 common mistakes
Rolling fakie for ages first. You only need a bike length of fakie; pop as soon as your front foot comes forward.
Hopping without the crank push. Give the cranks a firm push forward as you pop; it lifts the front end and starts the turn.
Using arms instead of hips. Crouch, push with your legs and start the spin from your hips and core.
Spinning past the landing. Spot the landing at ninety degrees and stop the rotation as the bike levels.

Where to practise
Flatground tricks want smooth flat ground. find spots with flat near you →
Where it sits
Why it's Spicy: It is a 180 from fakie, so you start facing the wrong way with the cranks wanting to run backwards. Timing the pop to the pedal stroke is what the flat 180 never asked for.
