The lowdown
From a front drop you push off with your hands, stay face down and flat, spin half way round like a record and land in a front drop facing the other end.
The name is not settled. Some glossaries call this half turn simply a turntable, while some coaches keep that word for the full turn.
Tips
Push sideways with your hands as the bed throws you up, and look the way you are turning. Tuck up small to spin, then stretch out flat for the landing.
Why it isn't working3 common mistakes
Pushing up instead of round. Push your hands across the bed in the direction of the turn.
Dropping one shoulder. Stay level, chest to the bed, the whole way round.
Landing with knees first. Open out early enough to land flat.

Where it sits
Why it's Gold: Gold because it is a flat spin between two front drops with no feet in between. It needs a strong, accurate front drop first.
