The lowdown
Tips
Turn your shoulders early and put the back truck on first.
Why it isn't working4 common mistakes
Pivoting too soon. Wait until the front truck is above the coping before you turn the hips.
Front truck landing short. A weak pivot leaves the front truck below the coping, so commit the whole 90 degrees.
Rushing the drop back in. Settle on both trucks for a breath, then press the tail and pivot in.
Learning it frontside first. Backside is the natural way round; get that solid before you try the other.

Where to practise
Park tricks want bowls and quarter pipes. find spots with a bowl near you →
Where it sits
Why it's Spicy: A drop-in starts still; here you arrive with speed, turn a quarter and land two trucks on a bar a few centimetres wide, then reverse it. The timing window is short.
